Editorial independence
The editorial content on iLoans.ai — including lender comparisons, rankings, articles, and product reviews — is produced independently of any lender's marketing or sales relationship with iLoans.ai. Lenders we feature have not paid for placement, ranking, or favorable coverage. The analysis we publish is the analysis we believe is correct based on publicly available information and our research.
iLoans.ai earns affiliate compensation when readers apply for products through links we feature. This compensation may influence which lenders we choose to cover (we are more likely to write about lenders that have affiliate programs available to publishers), but it does not influence the substance of our editorial analysis, our comparison rankings, or the pros and cons we list for each lender.
What we cover
iLoans.ai covers consumer and small-business lending products available to U.S. borrowers, including: personal loans, debt consolidation loans, auto loans, mortgages and HELOCs, student loan refinance, small business loans, and related calculators and reference material.
We do not cover: payday loans, title loans, "tribal" loans operating outside state usury laws, or any product whose effective APR exceeds 36% as a structural feature of the product. We will reference these products in articles when relevant for borrower education (e.g., warning readers away from them), but we do not include them in our comparison rankings.
How we research lenders
For each lender we cover, we research:
- Publicly disclosed APR ranges and the credit profile required for each tier
- Loan amounts, terms, and any restrictions on use of funds
- Origination fees, late fees, prepayment penalties, and any other fees
- Funding timelines (from approval to receipt of funds)
- Soft-pull pre-qualification availability
- Minimum credit score requirements
- Geographic availability
- Co-signer or co-borrower options
Information is drawn primarily from each lender's own website at the time of research, supplemented by SEC filings (for public companies), regulator disclosures (CFPB, state regulators), and verified third-party reporting. When information conflicts between sources, we cite the lender's own current published terms as the authoritative source for product details, and note the date of our research.
What we do not do
iLoans.ai does not lend money, broker loans, or service loans. We do not run credit checks on visitors to our site. We do not collect loan applications. We do not make credit decisions or guarantee approval. We do not guarantee specific rates or terms — those are determined by the lender you apply with, based on the lender's underwriting and your specific financial profile.
Sponsored content
iLoans.ai does not currently publish sponsored articles, sponsored reviews, or paid placement content. If we begin publishing sponsored content in the future, it will be clearly labeled as sponsored, and the sponsoring entity will be disclosed by name within the content itself.
Use of artificial intelligence
iLoans.ai uses AI tools to assist with research, drafting, and editing. All content published on the site is reviewed and edited by human editors before publication. We do not publish AI-generated content without human review. Our methodology and analytical frameworks are developed by humans; AI tools assist with execution and consistency, not editorial judgment.
Updates and corrections
Loan products, rates, and lender policies change frequently. We aim to review featured lenders regularly to keep product information current, but we do not guarantee that every detail on every page is current at every moment. Always confirm current rates, terms, and eligibility directly with the lender before applying.
If you find a factual error on iLoans.ai, please write to team@iloans.ai. We publish corrections promptly and visibly per our correction policy.
