Our commitment
We aim to meet or exceed the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) version 2.1 at the AA level. WCAG 2.1 AA is the standard most commonly referenced in US accessibility regulations and the one most assistive-technology users will be familiar with.
What we do
The site uses semantic HTML, descriptive link text, sufficient color contrast (a minimum 4.5:1 ratio for body text), keyboard-accessible navigation, and alt text on meaningful images. We do not use carousels, autoplaying media, or interactive elements that require a mouse. The calculators on this site are fully operable from a keyboard and announce their results to screen readers.
Where we fall short
We are a small publication and we do not have the resources of a large content network. Some older articles may have minor accessibility issues — for example, a heading hierarchy that skips a level, or a table without an explicit caption. If you find one, please tell us.
Reporting an issue
If you encounter an accessibility barrier on this site — a page that does not work with your screen reader, a control you cannot reach with the keyboard, low-contrast text, or anything else — please write to team@iloans.ai with the URL of the page and a description of the problem. We will respond within five business days and aim to fix material issues within thirty days.
Other formats
If you would prefer to receive the content of any page on this site in an alternative format — plain text, large print, or another reasonable accommodation — please write to the same address and we will do our best to provide it.
